Elton still brings magic and passion
I had HIGH expectations this time around. I have seen 54 Ultra by himself before at Target Center and was blown away last time by how much energy, power and sustainability he had in his concert.
We were on the floor this time; and though he did not hit all the high notes this time around; he came out swinging, had some GORGEOUS ballads in the middle, started with the standards, kept on going; and even when he switched it up; he still had us engaged, singing, and hanging onto every note.
It was powerful, electric, EXTREMELY energetic and a ton of fun. The stage and lights were GORGEOUS, and even after we were told absolutely no more time than 8:15 to 10:15; he started fifteen minutes early and went till almost eleven straight. The new songs really beautiful and moving (especially for me, the Oceans Away one while my daughter is deployed hit home). My friend and I LOVED it.
